Chaos in coupled Kerr-nonlinear parametric oscillators

A Kerr-nonlinear parametric oscillator (KPO) can generate a quantum superposition of two oscillating states, known as Schr\"{o}dinger cat state, via adiabatic evolution, and be used qubit for gate-based computing annealing. In this work, we investigate complex dynamics, i.e., chaos, in coupled nondissipative KPOs at few-photon level. After showing that classical model system is nonintegrable consequently exhibits chaotic behavior, provide counterparts the results, which are versions Poincar\'{e} surface section its lower-dimensional version defined with time integrals Wigner Husimi functions, also initial long-term behavior out-of-time-ordered correlators. We conclude some them regarded signatures together energy-level spacing statistics (conventional signature). Thus, expected to offer not only an alternative approach computing, but promising platform study on chaos.
